Days With My Father is terribly touching. Simple to read, delivering the message of a father-child relationship effectively through powerful pictures.
Made me ponder:
Which is worse? The loss of a long term memory or the loss of a short term one? Or which one is better?
Of course, we all hope that we and the ones we love would never be victims of a fate like that. But things always happen for a reason.
I watched this alone because the referrer said she was moved to tears. And so was I when I read. I cry ugly-ly. Do I cry because the story is sad? Or do I cry because I'm scared that I might never get to know my father as well as the author got to know his father?
(: haha.
and I commented.
