How do I say this....

ISMYSVM.

Remember this game we used to play?

Haiz...

It's not that I can't let go I am...slowly..

The pain is going away... Slowly..

I can't believe how fast time has passed... Really...

Singapore is really going through too much construction. The places where memories were created, some are not there anymore... I wonder if that's good or bad.

Ah well I should be heading to SGF tomorow after dinner. I guess going alone, that's my plan for now, will leave me more time to explore and read the exhibits.

I hope all will be ok then.

I'm spamming Wedding Dress by Taeyang like crazy in all different forms. Eng covers and mashups. I don't think I can ever be sick of that song. Especially in Taeyang's voice. :D it's really a classic. Really classic. It gives me that feeling when I hear Frank Sinatra's song.

I envision more for my life.

Some songs still just make me sad.

But I will not be sad. I REFUSE TO BE SAD. It's a matter of mind. I'm getting better at controlling this. But somehow... it still manages to worm itself up in my thoughts.

I need more Literature.

Too many plans.
Too little time.
Bad organisation.
Bad decision making.
No conscious presence.
Bad luck?
No fate?

So much time.
No plans.
Too lazy?
Not healthy enough.
No fate?

I really wish I could have gone to the dinner. :( :( :( :( A MILLION :( I really want to talk to Jeannette!!! And W and J and C and R and JY and V and S!!!!!!! talk to them without the tiredness of....CAMP.

I guess things STILL haven't changed since I wasn't oetoriya.
S would be "so proud of me". I'm already asking Nas to give me some wake up slaps tomorrow. I'm letting precious available time flow so easily, so easily. I know this yet still I let it go.

Haiz, an old friend contacted me to ask me to work with his company. WHAT's THAT YOU SAY? Work with HIS COMPANY! ? ! ? Hello. Hello. Hello. I do not have a diploma, I have not interned at any place except with the.... GOVERNMENT, Safe places, safe and top to bottom places, where I was the one who followed instructions. I only have A levels. Academic A levels. The ones tt make your brain heavier. I haven't learnt decision making. I'm BAD at decision making. SEE ABOVE. WHAT ?! ?! ?! I'm not ready for this. This is the THIRD time someone asked me to work with them on a managerial level and I'm turning it down. WHY? WHY? WHY? Cos I don't believe in myself. I still feel like a kid. I do. I do. I do. WTH.

WHAT IN THE WORLD IS THE MEANING OF THIS GOD? What is the purpose of you putting this idea into my little friend's head and coming up with this scheme? I'm not complaining I'm just not used to this wrinkle in the scheme of things. I'm not supposed to work on a managerial level now... It's supposed to happen... LATER. People say... focus on studies first! How am I gna juggle that work, FAMILY, and maintaning a 3.5 (or possibly, HIGHER) CAP! Plus CCA which I am intending to join to enrich myself culturally.

BAH. Dear God... you really made me at a loss of words now... Should I just be grateful? Ok yes, I am grateful. Of course I am.... I just don't know what to do.... Oh this is really throwing me off the plan I had in mind....

BUSINESS?
When in the world did I want to be in BUSINESS?

I want an ethically correct business.
A creative business.
A Bling Bling business was not what I had in mind...

Oh but the money... I could use the money...

Ah well.. mb I'll talk to more people about it first. And see what that friend has to say.

Being Happy. Remember to try it.

Remarkable Creatures by Tracy Chevalier
12:07 AM

I just finished reading Remarkable Creatures by Tracy Chevalier. I didn't realise she was also the author of The Girl with a Pearl Earring which I bought from the Arts Teachers' Junk Sale at MJC last year. I haven't read that book yet though.

Remarkable Creatures

Remarkable Creatures is a story about Mary Anning who lives in Lyme Regis, the Jurassic Coast and she has the EYE to find FOSSILS! Ah... so cool.. Fossils. I've always wanted to be a paleontologist. When I was young. But even then I knew... Singapore?! Where got dinosaurs! KWANG KWANG KWANG. This is a story about people who really lived two centuries ago and this Mary Anning was the first person to ever find dinosaur bones! AHHH! And at only 12 years old at that! She even made money with the fossils she found. I wish I could do that now. Could certainly use it. :D :D

After reading this book, I developed a fondness for Lyme Regis. Which made me research more on this place and the real history of Mary Anning. I can't believe I really went to Wikipedia to read up on this girl! Sadly due to her amazing gift, she couldn't get married. SHEESH to the closed up minds of the people of the past. But her story is really really interesting because I have never read anything like it. There is totally nothing cliche about this book. That's why it's the first, non-Asian book I really enjoyed reading after A Levels. And that was a freaking long time ago. After A levels, I was kind of hungry for something challenging, fresh and new. So I read a lot of poetry, Singapore literature and Malay books.

I even went to Google the first fossils that she discovered! She found an Ichthyosaur and a Pl esiosaur. The first two Jurassic fossils were found by a WOMAN! Ayz... I'm such a fan of Mary Anning now. This is one destination that is on my List of Places To Go when I have money and while I am healthy.

This story is very very different from the stories that I have read before in terms of style and story. There's not much extreme drama here, which I had to get used to. It's very feminist without being too... sickening. It potrays the female characters as very tough. While reading the story, a lot of times I was thinking, " Ah... I wish I lived in that time" but at that era, females were not allowed to participate in scholarly activities and I knew I would have just died if that would happen.

I pray that I can go there and dig up my own common fossil one day! xP

This makes me feel like being surrounded by pearls, clams and mermaid weddings.

I've always loved how MK & A dresses. :) Minus their younger days though. HOHOHO.

I like the bag. And the black maxi jersey dress that I should have bought from New Look but didn't because I didn't feel like trying on dresses. When I came back with the mood to do so, it was all sold out. Only a Barney Purple was left.

Looks like a Sari jumpsuit eh?

I don't know if I've ever put this picture up before. Anyway, I'm still doubtful how high-waist maxi skirts will look on me... :/ it looks really nice though. I've even envisioned sewing them in multiple pops of colour since I've learnt how to make a skirt. It's really easy!!!

I saw this while reading a local indie fashion blog. I like the colour of the dress on that girl on the right. Could I have this please? :)

I love the drapings on the dresses, how the dress falls so elegantly. I love the shoes, I love the necklaces, the accesories. OOOOH I LOVE THIS DESIGNER! There's not too much bulk. At the same time, the shape of the body is covered nicely, there's no excessive tightness anywhere. I especially love the colours. LOVE LOVE LOVE.

Labrador Park at Dawn by Erik Sevilla Estrada

Hopefully, I get to go there without any pressure (such as orienatations or leadership camps or what not) someday. And just enjoy a nice stroll along the park.
