When we exited Kou Fu after lunch, me, Shakura, Delle, Bobby and Wei Lie chanced upon yellow people and a signed that said 'Free Cupcakes'. Who wouldn't want that?

Free cupcakes will attract all of us. Cupcakes is the in thing now. But for me, i'v always loved muffins and cupcakes. Sweet things will please me.

So we went there and there was the sign 'Kakao Talk' all over. Turns out that they were promoting the messenger. It's a combination of WhatsApp and Viber. But it has a Korean flavour. Cute and more variety of emoticons too.

So to GET a cupcake you have to INSTALL the messenger, ADD one of the promoters and say HI to her.

My phone ran out of memory but I had downloaded the programme already. I still got a cupcake anyway. WOO HOO~ chocolateee sponge goodness.

The product sounds good tho. You get updates from your favourite Korean start too. THINK BIG BANG, 2NE1, Tablo, Gummy. (wait, they're all from YG!) hoho.

Yummy treat.
Good tactic.

Free sticker, post it and fan too! :)

Wei Lie wants to go to Tiong Bahru bakery next week. WHEE~

Oh and there was a false fire alarm at Cinnamon just now. Right when we ended class. NICE.

Dear S.

You don't have to be my guardian angel anymore.

New food motivates me.

I wanted to taste kimchi so much today that after NM3220-Research for Communication Management, I went to Jurong Point just to eat from the halal Korean stall....

Now I am all prepped up to edit my part for NM3210- Cybercrime.

And first draft for NM3219 homework- Crisis communication.

___

This holiday,

I will have to get myself mentally ready.

And I will be in a photoshoot.

___

And, I was just thinking of how fun the classes for Sinbad was... I was the only Singaporean in my group, I had my first exposure to a film class and they were very professional about it. And making a film as a group... that was awesome.

AND going to the new Maritime museum.

Alhamdulillah. I was lucky. Being in USP has so far been worth the pain.

Was just thinking back of how I should really write a personal reflection on each module that I take.

I want to help single mothers who have to work and have to take care of their children, and raise them up on their own.
I want to help children who have to take care of their siblings at home.
I want to help them, because whatever difficulty I faced since my youngest brother came into our lives, these people will definitely go through worse days, always putting the youngest before themselves, always with no choice.

It takes a village to raise a child. But where is the village now?

I don't know how to go about doing this.

Also, I want to help mothers take care of their child, in general. Let them go about having time for their individuality, having time for the people they want to shower their love on, have time to teach their children, have time to be with their children. And not just let their child sit in front of the television watching cartoons for hours on end- that's the easy way out.

I think children should be able to spend time outdoors. And explore the great wide world. Should single mothers then be trained so that they can take care of their children while taking care of others? No- jobmatch problems? attachment problems? What about having single mums working somewhere with peace of mind knowing that their child is being taken care of? Sometimes, mums really wanna work but they have not enough money to send their child to the childcare centres, nor do they want to spend so long at work.

That's why I'm really interested at work-life balance too.

You never know how your future will turn out. All these while, I've planned everything carefully and managed to get them. Now in uni, all those plans has not turned out the way I have thought it to be.

I thank Allah for the super inspiring seniors I have, them for proving to me that it is possible to just go ahead and do what you like.

I'm just going to go with the flow now. And try out a lot of good things in Uni.

I can say, for now, WELL DONE SAF :D :D :D You rock :D
