Love this advertisement since the first time I watched it. So amazingly unexpected. And sad and funny, really funny. Thought it was distinctively Yasmin Ahmad's flavour and my father confirmed it. She did say she just filmed something for the Singapore government on her blog. Yup... it's by her. Haha. I don't think I'll ever get sick by the advertisement. And I think the actors are really really convincing. All of them. How come they don't act professionally? Hoho...

I love her sari. I love the Babas especially the Nonya in her Kebaya holding her husband's hand. I love the way I can feel the love of all the people there. The love towards their loved ones and the love towards the person who departed. I love the opening scene where the person introduces the wife as Mrs Lim and the sign says "To the family of David Lee." so viewers would naturally expect a Chinese wife. I think it was pleasantly surprising and really...true because this is what a multi-racial society experiences- multi-racial families. In Singapore and Malaysia. I love how Yasmin Ahmad integrates Singapore's major races in there. HAIZ.. gosh. Adoration. Adoration. CLEVER CLEVER!

And I think her son looks like Matthew. And they both are Cindians too... soo hmm...

Oh HO! A Behind-the-scenes! Tee HEE...

I want to cut my fringe. I want to cut my hair. Before SYF.
